Refunds and Returns Policy
1. General
1.1 We understand that sometimes you may wish to return a product you have purchased from Goodies Wastewater Supplies, to assist you, we have set out the Goodies Wastewater Supplies policy highlighting key points that you should know.
1.2 Our Refunds and Returns Policy includes the rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law and provides you with additional benefits in addition to those rights, because your satisfaction is important to us.
2. Your Rights under the Australian Consumer Law
2.1 Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
2.2 Where a failure does not amount to a major failure, Goodies Wastewater Supplies is entitled to choose between providing you with a repair, replacement or other suitable remedy.
2.3 Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not limited by a defined time. However, the Australian Consumer Law does recognise that the relevant time period can vary from product to product, depending on factors such as the nature of the product and the price. Goodies Wastewater Supplies adopts the same approach. As you can appreciate, the type of remedy we can offer you may also vary on how long it takes you to return the product to us.
2.4 For any product returns, please use our online 24/7 Dealer Service, alternatively you can contact our National Dealer Service Centre on 1300 282 181 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday to Friday AEST. This includes products that carry a manufacturer's warranty. Any cost incurred by you in returning the item to Goodies Wastewater Supplies will be borne by you.
3. Retain your Tax Invoice
3.1 In order to obtain a refund, exchange or to repair a product purchased from Goodies Wastewater Supplies, including those products which carry a manufacturer's warranty, you must have clear proof of purchase - typically, but not always, a Tax invoice.
3.2 If we cannot be satisfied that you purchased the product from us then, under the law, we are entitled to elect whether or not to accept your product for return.
3.3 For loss prevention purposes we will need to record your personal details. You can view our Privacy Policy.
4 Product Assessment
4.1 Once proof of purchase has been established, if the product fault can safely and clearly be determined in-house we will offer you either a refund, or exchange. The available remedy will depend on whether the fault amounts to a major failure. Where the product fault is difficult or potentially dangerous to determine in-house, we will need to consult with the manufacturer or repair agent to determine the fault and resolution.
4.2 The manufacturer or their agent will determine whether a product has incurred a major or minor fault. Where a product has been sent to the manufacturer, the manufacturer will determine whether:
4.2.1 There is no fault found
4.2.2 There is a minor fault which can be easily repaired within a reasonable time frame
4.2.3 There is a major fault found and the customer is to be offered a replacement or a refund
4.3 Where there is no fault found, the product will be returned to Goodies Wastewater Supplies to be returned to the dealer.
4.4 When we send your product to the manufacturer or their repair agent, we will ask them to assess the product and provide their assessment within a reasonable time frame.
4.5 Unfortunately, Goodies Wastewater Supplies cannot offer a refund or exchange where the product has sustained damage due to abnormal use, whether that has been identified by Goodies Wastewater Supplies, the manufacturer or repair agent.
4.6 If the product does not match its advertised description, Goodies Wastewater Supplies will provide you with a refund.
5. Product Return
5.1 If you still have your tax invoice and it is within 14 days of purchase, Goodies Wastewater Supplies will give you, at our option an exchange or refund providing the product is:
5.1.1 in its original condition and packaging (including manuals and accessories)
5.1.2 not on the Product Exclusion List (please see below)
5.2 If you meet the conditions above but are returning a product outside the 14 day return period, Goodies Wastewater Supplies will offer you an exchange.
5.3 When a refund is granted, we will refund the original purchase price via the previous method of payment indicated on the receipt.
6. Product Exclusions List
6.1 Products below may not be returned unless they breach a guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law
